Day 2 : Touring Amman

Today Deidre and I left before it got too hot (8:30am) with our driver Tarek.  He took us on a 3 hour "whirlwind" tour of the great city of Amman.  We visited a military museum, the Blue Mosque and the Citadel (only around 8000 years old!!).  We then met Sue for some felafels on Rainbow Road.  What a great day!!
So we went back out on the town later on during the day to check out the real "downtown" scene.  What an experience!!!   I felt safer here than I would down town Toronto.

Where we ate felafels earlier

Jordanian head garb (got one for Taylor and Ethan too!)

Where we ate diner (lamb kabobs!!)
